from internal innovation to recognized expertise: our journey with zephyr

In 2023, we added Zephyr to our innovation roadmap. Today, this technology lies at the heart of demanding industrial projects deployed on a global scale.

Why Zephyr?
In an increasingly constrained embedded world, Zephyr has established itself as the leading open-source standard:

it is portable across ARM, RISC-V, and ESP32 architectures, features a comprehensive networking ecosystem (BLE, Wi-Fi, Thread, IPv6), and is designed with security in mind from the outset. In a sense, it is the “Linux” of the embedded world, but with a lighter footprint.

Our RTOS offering: expertise across the entire embedded stack

We work on the complete software stack, from the lowest-level layers up to the business application:

Bootloader & secure startup
Development and customization of bootloaders (U-Boot and others), boot time optimization, recovery partition management, update mechanisms, and, crucially, implementation of Secure Boot to ensure firmware integrity from the very first byte executed.

Custom BSPs & drivers
Development of Board Support Packages (BSPs) and drivers tailored to your specific electronic boards, whether designed in-house or sourced from third-party hardware providers.

Security by design
Cybersecurity is not an afterthought added at the end of a project. Our approach is based on defense-in-depth: kernel hardening, granular access control, VPNs and encrypted tunnels, binary integrity verification, CVE monitoring, and compliance with recognized standards.

Middleware & Industrial Protocols
Integration of network stacks and industrial protocols (Modbus, Bluetooth, Zigbee, OPC UA, LwM2M, etc.), embedded services…

Business Applications
Development of the application layer, housing your product’s core functional intelligence, with a strong focus on strict real-time constraints and production-grade robustness.

Real-world Example
We recently managed the complete migration of a hard real-time system (1,500 source files, 20 threads) to Zephyr, while maintaining the original solution’s performance and integrating industrial communication protocols. This project demonstrates our ability to handle complex migrations in mission-critical environments.

Our RTOS hub masters a wide range of technologies—including bare metal, FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Zephyr, Linux RT, and VxWorks—and supports clients from initial specifications through to long-term maintenance, including security updates (MCO/MCS).
