Within the framework of this project, Mediane Systeme has developed an automatic measurement and acquisition system using optical cells to monitor the movement of the board through the various elements of the machine in real time. The optical cells are positioned at different points in the machine: these cells detect the front (F) and rear (R) edges of the cardboard, which makes it possible to deduce measurements of the register and variation in cross-section per element. Mediane Systeme has developed and produced an acquisition box in charge of acquiring the signals from the cells and which interfaces with a PC via an Ethernet link. Mediane Systeme also produced the software for setting parameters, acquiring and processing results.
