Development of a Test Bench for a Roll Correction Device
Thales Banc Roulis Project
This project involves developing a test bench for a roll correction device fitted to an embedded camera mounted under the fuselage of an aircraft. Developed in C++ (Visual C++, Measurement Studio) on a PXI/SCXI acquisition system, it enables the simultaneous control of two devices via an ergonomic touchscreen interface.
The scope includes real-time position calculation management and the integration of various test modes (automatic, unit, and expert).
The system also ensures the sharing of results over a local network while adhering to strict cost constraints. The hardware architecture is based on isolation and conditioning racks with a forced-air cooling system.
