Development of a Characterization Test Software for Infrared Sensors

ULIS Project

This project involves the study and development of a modular software dedicated to characterization testing of infrared sensors for cameras. It is based on the interfacing of key technologies such as LabVIEW, TestStand, and MATLAB to automate the creation of customized test campaigns. The software architecture prioritizes high hardware modularity and allows test sequences to be modified without code regeneration.

Data management is handled through the use of the structured HDF5 format, capable of supporting large acquisition files containing all test parameters. The solution is deployed on Windows 7 using various communication protocols including GPIB, RS-232, and IVI.
