Development of an Embedded System for Continuous Network Infrastructure Monitoring

AVBN Trident Project

This project involves developing an autonomous embedded supervision system for Alstom’s railway network, designed to monitor the infrastructure and detect any deviation from the initial design. Integrated on a Netbox-type device (xPU), it must handle complex topologies (dual-homing, auto-discovery) and include a web-based maintenance interface.

The development relies on technologies such as C++, SNMP, and DBUS, while complying with critical safety standards (EN 50128, IEC 62443). The ultimate objective is to ensure network reliability through simulators and rigorous requirements traceability.
