Development of a Multi-Criteria Weld Qualification Tool (Industrial Laser Welder)
CLECIM WELDVISION Project
This project involves designing and developing a weld qualification software interfacing with both the welding PLC and the Keyence PLC (video acquisition system). Developed in C++/Qt, the software enables weld visualization and integrates multiple measurement criteria along with automatic qualitative assessment.
Performance constraints related to the production line and configuration requirements for different welder types were taken into account throughout the development. The overall objective is to improve the client’s system based on their operational feedback.
