Space
Our vision of the main
challenges in the Space sector
Industrialists' enthusiasm for the space sector continues to drive innovations, development programmes and projects (space travel, satellite imagery, weaponisation, 'new space').
The development of public-private partnerships opens the way to new applications in the data collected from satellite observation and to the acceleration of space programmes.
Examples include securing communications (signals), bringing the internet to remote or under-equipped areas, developing anti-satellite weapons, building multi-mission or low-cost satellites (nano/microsatellites), reducing space debris (via re-use of equipment), analysing data for monetisation (improving agriculture, land management).
