In a context of redesigning a range of technical management products for industrial and tertiary buildings,
Mediane Systeme has taken over the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) management module, which consists of two electronic boards.
We were involved from the preliminary feasibility phase onwards, both in terms of hardware and embedded software, and then in the design, development and industrialisation of a specific CPU board based on a SAMA5, FLASH NAND and DDR3L. We also carried out the evolutions on the basic board allowing the integration of the new CPU board and the 2 Ethernet links.
After the development and testing of the LINUX low layers adapted to the CPU board and the base board, we carried out the integration tests and then accompanied the customer on the CE certification of the product (mainly on the EMC and electrical safety aspects).
The project was carried out taking into account multiple constraints including integration into the existing housing with minor rework, production costs, testability and compliance with EN50491-3/-5 and EN60730-1/-2-11.
