Development and integration into the existing system of an electronic safety function to prevent the doors from closing. This function allows, once the train is stopped, the release of the doors following the activation of the alarm signal by a passenger and the loss of vigilance of the driver. The solution chosen takes into account a number of constraints, including the SIL2 safety aspect (EN 50126-50129), but also integration into an existing system with a reduced footprint, minimum installation time, possibility of reversibility and optimised cost.
Mediane Systeme developed this function in accordance with the EN 50155 standard, then carried out qualification campaigns (EMC, vibration and climate) and system validation on night trains. Once the function and its integration had been validated by the authorities, Mediane Systeme managed the manufacture of the electronic cards and modified 68 existing electronic assemblies (composed of 4 3U drawers) to integrate the function on the train.
Mediane Systeme also trained the operator's staff to check and maintain this function.
