Hardware Redesign of a Camera
TELEDYNE RedEliixa8kM Project
This project consists of a hardware redesign of the Eliixa+ 8k Monochrome camera to address component obsolescence issues. The objective is to replace the microcontroller, the FPGA (migrating to a Xilinx Artix-7 family), and the power supply chains, while maintaining a transparent design experience for the end user.
The scope includes code porting, placement and routing under CADSTAR, and validation via XCELIUM.
Ultimately, the project aims to ensure long-term component availability while preserving the original form factor and performance specifications.
