Design of Electronic Boards for a Thermal Printer

TIFLEX TIJ Project

This project involved developing a new industrial printing solution based on HP ink cartridges. The electronic architecture comprises 7 boards, including the design of 4 new units under KiCad with a compact form factor for the print head. The system integrates a PIC24 microcontroller (C language) to manage I2C/SPI/GPIO interfaces and a high-speed interface of 24 signals at 10MHz over 10 meters.

The development also includes technical support for the FPGA driving code and the use of technologies such as LVDS and RPI-COMPUTE3.
