Hardware Review and Creation of a Yocto Distribution for a Laser Engraver
GRAVOTECH UC7G Project
This project covers the development and validation of the UC7G board, designed to control a laser engraver and cutter. The work begins with a reverse engineering phase of the design documentation, followed by schematic and routing reviews prior to manufacturing.
The scope also includes the development of a Linux BSP via Yocto, as well as the writing of the required drivers. A dedicated phase is devoted to hardware testing of 24 prototypes. The project concludes with the delivery of validation reports, the industrial documentation package, and the associated source code.
