Validation Platform for Embedded Controllers in Trucks

Renault Trucks Project

This project involves developing a HIL (Hardware-In-the-Loop) platform for the off-vehicle integration and validation of embedded controllers in Renault/Volvo trucks.

The objective is to model the physical environment and simulate sensor signals to test networked controllers. The implementation includes the design of the supervision software, input/output modules, and the management of mechanical subcontracting.

Using C language and LabWindows/CVI, the system communicates via industrial protocols such as CAN Bus and J1587. The scope concludes with final on-site integration, comprehensive validation, and user training.
